Every month our Ideajack staff decides on a website project to donate our time and talents to Pro Bono.
According to Wikipedia, Pro bono publico (often shortened to pro bono) is a phrase derived from Latin meaning "for the public good." The term is sometimes used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment, as a public service. It is common in the legal profession and is increasingly seen in marketing, technology and strategy consulting firms. Unlike traditional volunteerism, pro bono service leverages the specific skills of professionals to provide services to those who are unable to afford them.
If you have a web project or know of a community situation or organization that needs help, we invite you to suggest our next charitable project.
A panel consisting of Ideajack Staff Members and our Board of Advisors will review and consider all applications for our monthly complimentary web design assistance.
We'll make our decision and contact the appropriate parties involved to begin work on the project for the following month. Completion of the project will be at our discretion. Decision of panel is final.
